Twitter Personalities

The 10 twitter personalities that I followed consisted of The Grateful Dead, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Game of Thrones, Bill Gates, Chad Johnson, Donald Trump , Kanye West, LeBron James, Comedy Central and DeadMau5. Four of the personalities are Musicians, those include the red hot chili peppers, the grateful dead, Deadmau5 and Kanye West. All These artist are very successful in their genres. The Grateful Dead's genre is rock music, the Red Hot Chili Pepper genre is alternative rock, Kanye West genre is rap music and Deadmau5 is progressive house which is part of edm music. They use their twitters to promote their music by tweeting about their upcoming albums and upcoming concerts around the world. The Grateful Dead and The Red Hot Chili peppers express their personality only through promoting themselves while DeadMau5 and Kanye are more entertaining. They both get into twitter arguments over issues he feels strongly about. They promote on other things as well like their political opinions and issues in today's society. They all use logos and ethos because they are putting facts on their twitter and using credibility because they are all credible sources. Two of the other personalities are a tv show and a tv network. GOT brand is their show which is widely acclaimed as the greatest show of all time. They use their twitter to show upcoming events relating to GOT and merchandise. Their personality is authentic. They use logos because they only give facts and they use pathos because they appeal to the followers love of game of thrones. Comedy Central is a tv network that has a variety of shows that are in the comedy genre. They use their twitter to show upcoming airings of shows and events. They use pathos because their followers love the content on their site and they find it funny. The other 4 personalities are a mix of businessmen, athletes, and even the president of the United States. The two athletes are LeBron James and Chad Johnson. They use their twitter to promote their own brand. LeBron owns multiple companies and advertises the on his twitter and also advertises for his team the Cleveland Cavaliers. Chad Johnson uses his twitter to promote his companies and his personal beliefs. They use ethos because they are both credible figures in pop culture. Bill Gates uses his twitter to promote his brand of microsoft, when he is public speaking and new ideas. HIs twitter is completely authentic. He uses facts while tweeting so people understand where he is coming from. The last personality is the one and only Donald Trump. I choose to follow him because he is the president of the United States but also because he is so controversial in pop culture. He uses his twitter to make posts on issues such as foreign and domestic policies. No president ever has done that by using their own social media. His brand is Trump organization a business empire and the president of the U.S.A. The account can be seen as either authentic or fake because he tweets about his plans and what he’s doing but some of the info is completely misleading.
